Virtu is grateful to you, our community, for your continuing support and artistic vision. We try to return that support in any way we can.

Throughout the year, we contribute to various organizations, including Challenge Alaska, Spirit of Youth, Ski for Women, our local schools, and other non-profits.

Pink!

Pink! October 2009:

This was the 4th annual Pink! show. Funds raised during the show were donated to Providence Cancer Center Patient Navigators for women undergoing cancer treatment.

Patient Navigators work to help cancer patients by providing information and assistance throughout treatment. Over the past three years, Virtu and its artists have raised over $3,000 for Patient Navigators. Some of the contributing artists in 2009 are:

Pink! October 2008:
A big THANK YOU to everyone who participated in this year's PINK show! This year, 30 artists contributed over 50 pieces to PINK 2008 and the gallery was packed with supporters. Virtu even received calls from out-state-clients who purchased works over the phone to help support the cause!

While the total funds raised for PINK 2008 has yet to be tallied, Virtu, our artists and our customers have raised thousands of dollars for the Patient Navigation Program at Providence Cancer Center over the past three years.

Thank you, and congratulations to all of you who help make this wonderful event possible each year! Please check back in the summer for PINK 2009 information.

Pink! October 2007:
Our second annual benefit show to raise money Alaska women battling cancer was a success. Thank you to everyone who helped put "Pink!" in the pink.

Pink! October 2006:
The reception was a blast, the art was amazing, and Virtu raised more than $1,700 for the Providence Cancer Center Patient Navigation Program. Images from the event can be seen below.

Santa's Helpers

For Christmas 2007, Santa visited Virtu for photos with the kids (and the Virtu staff!).

All proceeds supported Challenge Alaska. We hope to continue efforts like these in the future, and we thank you for your contributions.

Virtu is dedicated to not only bringing great art to Anchorage, but to fostering community through creative vision.

We will continue this tradition of giving and supporting local causes, and we look forward to seeing all of you at future fundraisers and events.
